Flash Photography Techniques – Ambient Light Plus Flash: It has been a dream of all photographers to look for the balance in lighting whenever they photograph a subject and most of the time the quality of available light isn’t always perfect. With many years in hotography I hoe to share my experience. In making use of flash wisely I am able to enhance my photo a step further rather than by just using the available ambient light.

If you're interested in doing more with your lighting than what just putting a flash on top of your camera will do, check out this book. I highly recommend it.

You should also check out strobist.blogspot.com. Be sure to hit the "archives" for information on using hot shoe flashes off camera and lighting in general.
